During the operation of the SG series spring cone crusher, the motor drives the eccentric sleeve to rotate via a horizontal shaft and a pair of bevel gears. Driven by the eccentric sleeve, the axis of the crushing cone performs a gyratory motion, causing the surface of the crushing mantle to alternately approach and recede from the surface of the concave liner; this subjects the ore within the crushing chamber to continuous compression and bending, resulting in its fragmentation.
